The ideas of revolution inspired abolitionists like Benjamin Franklin for sure. The ideas of liberty and equality that encouraged the revolution also made the Blacks question their position in free America. The Declaration of Independence said that all men are created equal which means even blacks deserve equal rights. But the question here was that if the states continue with practice then the free blacks would also not be accepted as free men and that would be a huge problem. Thus, these ideas of liberty and equality inspired Benjamin Franklin to establish first abolitionist society in America in 1775 and these ideas spread to other states.
